ISTE Standards
One ISTE standard that stood out to me was "2.3 citizen" allows students to educated themseleves on responsible and safe practices on the internet. I also liked "1.7 Global collaborator" standard. Which allows educators to set up an environments to allow students to collaborate with local and global level using media. I can imagine allowing students to have an environemnt to do good for the world with my assistance.

code.org activity
I enjoyed how easy it was actually to code. The way they explained it se=tep by step but also it relied on your remembering some of the step made it feel like you were actually creating it yourself. I imagine using this as a little activity in a group setting where they move around the room and I give a device to do it on. Some challenges were it is not verfy flexible and if there is a way to make it flexible they did not teach it during the assignment. For example, words with 'ing' do not make sense with what we were told to create which could confuse kids.
The lesson plan was created for 2nd graders on the intent of it being used for math for learning how to tell time. Students are expected to learn how to count time. They would be able to watch a video while I also helped explain to the students about time.Time should be able to be measured to the nearest 5 in the ones digit place. They also hould be able to read a digital and analog clock. There are also word problems which you can print out and number problems. They also offer discussion questions.
It fits since we are trying to achieve teaching students how to read from analog clocks and digital clocks. We are also supposed to achieve for them to estimate to the closest 5 using A.M and P.M. The activities connect to what we are trying to achieve. The video helps explain how to tell time and was created nicely so it is not too much thrown at them. I also like the discussion questions since I can ask them to show me what 7:25 looks like on a clock after the video and some explaining. They also offer a list of vocab words which can also be used using the lesson. They also include quizzes and exit tickets that relate to the lesson.
If I used this lesson I really liked the vocab words that they included vocab words, I would not use them all. Some are just not needed but some are. I would make my own assessment with what I taught the students but I could use it. I would like to add a part of the lesson where students have a sheet where they fill in the answers with actual clocks. I would be able to put them in groups so they could walk around the classroom and read them and then write down what they got on the paper. I think that would pair nicely with the resources. Not every child has the same experience with clocks so that could be a big one. So maybe making a little rhyme could be beneficial for student to learn what the big hand and the little hand mean on a clock.

I enjoyed how easy the assignment was and how I was able to actually understand the instructions. If anybody knows me knows I must have step-by-step instructions for anything dealing with coding or electronics. I also liked how you could make it your own at the end so it could be a bit different from others. I can already imagine using it as a little transition period for something or for other children that may be done already with an activity. Could even relate it to the lesson.
