A quick response code is also named a QR code for short. They are ususally used so you can pulled up infomation on your phone by just scanning a QR code. QR codes are used for the convenience of it. For example, as a future teacher I see it being helpful during a meeting or during a welcome house to get infomation easily to the parents, since most children do not have a phone but would be super helpful for parents.
