This presentation is intended for parents and other teachers to view and read the presentation. Parents can help read it to their children. In the future I see myself teaching in a 2nd or 3rd grade classroom. This could be played in the back during a student teacher conference so they can get to know me and why I became a teacher.

I chose this software because it is a good platform and common one so you can find creative templates and stuff for free. Some other ones want you to pay money for the nice templates. You also have more creative freedom within google slides. Only downside is the animation is super outdated and super similar to power point. Will definitely use it again.

Three great teacher blogs ⋆

Here are some blogs I would recommend taking a look at...

The Shake Up Learning Blog

This blog is phenomenal for tips and tricks of being a teacher from a teacher. Kasey Bell has over 20 years of experience in teaching, educating all ages. You can use this blog for a range of things. Most of the things she offers is free or low costing.

Cult of Pedagogy

This blog has many different writers within it, so you can a variety of different perspectives. The website overall is super organized and down to it. I really like how you can sort it by topic. The blogs range to many topics not just one theme.

TeacherToolkit

This is also another source to gather multiple different perspectives of teaching. They focus more on terms and resources of different type of learners or teaching methods. The difference is the read time for these are super short and straight forward.

Learning never stops, and neither do we! 🌟 Welcome to my blog!!

Hello!! My name is Mary Haner

I graduated in 2023 with my high school diploma. I am currently in college to obtain my bachelor's in education. I also had taken an early childhood education throughout high school. I love traveling, experiencing the unknown, and learning something new along the way.

I have always had a deep appreciation for teachers and the strength it takes to succeed as a teacher. It takes a passionate teacher to foster a welcoming and supportive environment. I remember throughout my education that my teachers were more than just teaching me the material but also cared for my well-being and made a welcoming environment where I could learn and grow. Their dedication inspired me to pursue a similar path, where I can make my own positive impact.
